“The river remembers” is a sound installation created for the first edition of Långöfesten in Sweden.
It is a journey that takes us back in time in the life of Långö Liebruk, a swedish factory village of the 19th century, long deserted by humans. A collection of soundscapes and installations evoke a time past but not forgotten.

What does nature sound like?
Silly question one might say. But have you ever heard the inside of a tree? Do you know what the wind sounds like for a root? What is the melody of the leaves rustling?
In this project, we invite the audience to listen to the environment from the perspective of a tree. From the sounds around to the sounds within, we guide the audience through an acoustic journey, an exploration of the sonic world of nature.
