Sway

This project is an ode to the unstable. A declaration of love to that which is continuously changing, responding, adapting. Equilibrium is inertia; inertia is death. I am a lover of what is alive. After all, isn’t it what dance is? An expression of the living?

This project explore the notion of “sway” as a state of being/moving and as a tool to negotiate with the environment in which we evolve.

Sway is a movement practice that evolves through sharing and multiplying the experiences. From this practice i created a performance and a workshops around the principles of Sway.

From the practice of Deep Listening© from Pauline Oliveros to the observation of movement in nature, “Sway” is an invitation to dwell on the senses and observe that which is continuously moving.
